Meet Melissa!
Hi, I'm Melissa Williams. Welcome to Living Light and Free.
My journey has always been about supporting others through difficult circumstances. For over 31 years, I taught and served in public schools, gaining extensive experience in special education and learning how to love, support, and mentor individuals through the complexities of life as a teacher.
My heart breaks for newer Case Managers who do not get the support they need. Often unprepared, they are suddenly faced with the demands of instruction, data collection, following special education procedures and law, working with building administration, and communicating with parents. They feel overwhelmed, defeated, and often leave the classroom quickly, leaving students behind. Having a strong, compassionate, and willing mentor can change everything!
While respecting that not everyone agrees in the area of faith, I have come to understand that we as teachers give our all and try our best. The role of faith came to the forefront for me as I wrestled with work-life balance, feeling inadequate, overwhelmed, and sometimes under attack. Prayer became a vital practice for making it through the day! For those desiring a faith support, it is available but not pushed.
As a certified Transformational Life Coach (Brave Thinking Institute) and a certified facilitator in Prophetic Heart Healing, I bring a unique blend of experience, confidence, structure and deep spiritual insight into your current season. My heart is to see Case Managers thrive with practical support, mentorship, life transformation, and if desired, growth in a faith community.

Light and Free Heart Healing
Let's face it, teaching is hard on our hearts, it is triggering, and it can be exhausing. Often we feel guilty for having nothing left for our loved ones at home.
This is where Heart Healing comes in!

These confidential, honoring, 60 minute sessions are designed to help facilitate a

My experience with Prophetic Heart Healing with Melissa was helpful because it did ease my angst in the situations discussed and helped me to decipher thoughts that would arise . It was a refreshing reminder to understand that God will bring love, positivity and light to the matters of your heart , not condemnation or negativity. It was the intentional connection during quiet moments on how to decipher God’s voice and lean into the goodness I felt during the sessions that I found helpful. Melissa has a genuine , very loving way of interacting which allows you to be vulnerable and not feel judgment . I loved , loved getting feedback at the end from her . Getting her interpretation of what God was conveying and this interpretation was also shared from our prayer intercessor. That meant a lot. I think these sessions can be beneficial to give yourself a bit more understanding on a way to connect with the Holy Spirt and what our Father God is trying to communicate to you.
